The Verge of New Life (st. augustine maternity photography)

But a sneak peek at Beth's final maternity session.

We intended to shoot this a couple of weeks ago, but Beth wasn't feeling well as she was rapidly approaching Dallas' due date.

A McDonald's sweet tea gave her just enough pep in her step yesterday to get it done, and I think I love these even more than her 6 mos session back in May. To say this woman is A-FREAKIN-MAZING is a complete understatement. Complaining of being sore and due literally any minute now, she did some things that no other pregnant woman I've ever known would do. She walked over oyster beds to get out in the water, swam with a manatee, and climbed a tree.

More soon. For now, take a deep breath and appreciate life.

:)

OK you say "swam with a manatee" and didn't have the decency to make that your sneak peak!!! Freakin Tease!

It was hilarious, she was about 4 feet out into the water and I was on shore. I said, "Um I don't mean to scare you but there's something huge out there next to you!" Her rubber boots were full of mud and water and she's trying so hard to get out of it. I had to help her... I turned and took a shot of the water bubbling up after she got out but you can't tell it's a manatee.

She is gorgeous! :) Shot not too shabby either! ;)

Show us some more. :) :)

Are you going to document when the baby comes? Hint hint. ;)

Beth's had a rather hectic last few weeks so I think only the midwife, her mom, and sister will be at the birth. I'd love to be there for one... someday... We'll be doing a teeny tiny newborn shoot when Dallas is about 2 or 3 days old. :)
